Describing words
LI: to learning about persuasive advertisement.
This week for writing we were learning a new writing topic. It was called words. Describing words are verbs. We had to look at the image and we have to type up describing words. Then we had to make a sentence out of those describing words.

Swimming, water safety
LI: to rescue people who need help in swimming.
This week for swimming were learning a new swimming skill with Livvy. It was called the rescue and helping. We had to save people who needed help. And people had to call for help when they need rescuing.
Then we did it by floating on our backs.
The next one we did was scully. We had to move our hands around when we are drowning.
After that we learned how to do our rotation diving. When we did it we had to go through a hoop.
When we had to do the rescuing we had to get in groups of two. Then i was the rescuer.
Then our last thing we learning was stream line.

Incline plain
This week for inquiry we had to do An Incline plane is an angle with one side lower than the other and is used to transport objects and more. me and partners had to use toy cars and use Incline Planes to see how the toy car would react in action going down an Incline Plane.
There were tests using Incline Planes to see how it would make things easier to carry etc. We had to see how the Incline Plane would make it easier to carry a person in the class. Ong, Chris, etc. (Light people).
In partners/groups, we had to complete this draw explaining Inclined Planes, why Incline Planes make it easier to move things and an example of an Incline Plane in our everyday lives

swimming
LI: to learn how to do new trick in the pool.
This week for swimming we were learning new tricks in of the ability.
Then we played a quick game when the yr 6 we had to grab the water drown thing when Livvy throws them in the pool.
Then we got changed to go back to school.

Wheel, Axle and lever
This week for Inquiry I was doing wheel and axle with my Group called Leon. Mr Ogilvy gave us a car then we test it on the ramp and outside. We had to test it on the wheels and side ways but the wheel was faster so we had to test it sideways. But it didn't go fast. so we typed up that it didn't go fast.
This week for our next inquiry work we were learning about lever and levreg. LS1 watched Mr Ogilvy holding a toilet paper and he had a wood and a triinggal wood. And he put the toilet paper on a side then we did that then we did that and we got it right.

This week for extras I was doing basic fact boxes. The demon i was 5. IT took me 05:38 mins and sec to get them all right.

And the P means 2 numbers in multiplication. We had to do 5 shapes that were rectangles and square. After I did the shapes i had to do the addition and multiplication. Then I had to go to the next one.

3D shapes
LI: to make 3D shapes using paper.
This week for maths we were doing 3D using paper. The 3D shape we were making was a perymid and cube. Mr Ogilvy showed us how to draw the lines. So then we got a paper and we drawled the lines the we had to draw some tabs so we know were to fold them.

This week on another swimming the year 5s did new swimming skill from week 1. When we started on our swimming skill our first skill was Floating on back with and without the board. Then our other one was Kicking with arms forward on board. then our last one was Moving underwater.
