This week for maths we were learning our basic facts in a basic facts task.

What I found About Japan

LI:To find out information about Japan

In this task I had to find out five important facts about Japan.One information that really interested me was that the flag meant the sun. I realize that New Zealand is a really really small country compared to Japan because the population of Japan is 126.8 million and the population for New Zealand is 4.794.

Rugby Profile

LI: Write a profile about a rugby person. For this task we had to chose a person from any rugby then you have to write the height,weight,place of birth,name of player, date of birth, and place of birth.Then we had to put a photo on slide and a bit more information about the player.

Places to visit in

This week for inquiry we were learning about places to visit in. We had to chose 5 places to work on. The one my group chose was Tokyo We had to write the places about why its our favourite.

This week for writting we were learning about the rugby players of what position they are. Then we had to write information about there position. Then we had to insert images of the teams.

Rolling a dice using simple michiens

LI: to apply knowledge of simple machines to create a rube Goldberg machines.

For our rube Goldberg machines our challenge was to role a dice. I had to use the incline plain and the pulley. When my group started to build, we started of with two incline plains then we had a pulley with two cups. One had cubes in it and one had dices on the other side. Then we started testing
 it. We started with John rolling a spare on a long with the spare hitting my hand to roll a cylinder. When the cylinder hits Jarome's hand, he tips out the cubes in the cup then the dices in the cup will drop the the ground and the dice will be coming out rolling. What we would do differently is change the pulley into a wedge.

This week for reading we were learning about Rugby events. I had to find three important events during the different RWCs. I was happy to know that New Zealand has won the RWC three times.

swimming

LI: to learn swimming

This week for swimming we were learning about skills for swimming. We had a new swimming teacher called Mrs Kemilly. And Mrs Livvy
was away to teach us how to do tricks of our swimming. We did our same tricks for swimming accept scully. We learned a new trick. We had to have a board and we had to do our stream line and when were diving, we have to move our arms forward and switch to a different rotation.

Planning our advertisement

LI: to plan our advertisement

This week for writing we were learning about planning our advertisement from Mr Wong. So we had to do some work to plan our advertisement. Like see what it looks like, how much it cost and other stuff.

Bomb grid 1

This week for maths we were learning about how to get to the finish line in bomb grid 1. We had to find all the successful paths that leads to the finish line. We had to add some arrow by making a copy of it. When we put arrows in the paths, we had to make a sentence to tell what the arrows are doing. We can rotate clockwise or anticlockwise when we have to turn to a different square. And we can also Slide up, down , left and right.

This week for reading we were learning about who questions and what questions. We had to make a copy of a slide. There was a slide that had 6 zapped questions. We had to answer the question then do screencastify.

LI: to deal with challenges

We needed to practice dealing with challenges to deal with them easily in the future. We did a bus stop activity. We had to explain the challenges in the pictures.

We played an energiser that we had to think of a food that we like that has a name the beginning
with our name.

The Duffy show from Jamie wall

This week for assembly we met a man called Jamie for our Duffy roll motel show. When we first met him, he showed us a movie about the all blacks playing from different teams in rugby. After that, he told us about what happened in the movie. Then he told us were he works at, what's his teams and what cowcatchers he lives in.

LI: to learn anout water screw

This week inquiry we were learning about a water screw. A water screw is a tool that collects water and it comes out from the other side. When we went out side we did a real water screw, then we described it.

This week for math we were learning about flip, rotation and translate. We had to make 2 copy's on a google drawings because we had to do work with ourselfs and our triinggals with pepper.

This week we were learning about what we want to sell to our teacher Mr Wong. I was welling Mr Wong a fridge. So I inserted a fridge image and named the tittle of it. Then we had to do loaded words and emotive texts. We had to look at 2 poster's and watch videos. Then we had to type in the words in the poster and what they say in the video.
