Tangram

Today I learnt how to make tangrams. I rearranged the pieces to make animal shapes.

First I made a square piece of papper because tangrams are made from a big square.

Then I folded the square into usurious shapes and cut them

Lastly, I tried to make different animal shapes from the Tangram.

multiplication

LI: to learn the times tables

Multiplication is the easier way to count the same number. For example: 3 + 3 + 3 + 3 + 3 + 3 is counting three six times so 6 x 3 = 18.

Adverbs, nouns, verbs and adjectives

LI: to improve our vocabulary with descriptive writting.

Verbs are doing words that are used for actions.
Nouns are used for naming things, people, places and animals.
Adjectives are used for words that describe things.
Adverbs are words that describes way that something happens.

Multiplication

Multiplication is a way to count a lot of the same number. For example: 5 + 5 + 5 + 5 is counting 5 four times, so 4 x 5 = 20.

QAR questions

LI: to pose questions and locate the answers in a text.

This week for reading we were learning about QAR questions. First we read and listened to a book. Next we had to ask some questions that were related to the the book and your own questions. Last we had to create a DLO about the questioning post and the book.


Questions help us answering question from yourself or a text.

Fractions

LI: Mixed and Improper fractions


Fractions are full pieces cut into halfs. Decimals are numbers least than 1

The top number for fractions is numerator. The bottom number is denominator.

An improper faction is the denominator least than the numerator.

Verbs, Adjectives and nouns

LI: To identify vocabulary to summarise the text.

A verb is a word that describes an action. An Adjective is a word that describes things. A noun is a word used for naming things.

Summarising is telling the main parts of the beginning, middle, and ending of a book.
