Visualising

Visualising a reading strategy that helps create a story by drawing of your reading.

The gruffalo uses this strategy retelling the story on each page. The mouse makes up an animal called the gruffalo to three animals in each page. The mouse telling the animals that what the gruffalo looks like would give people an idea to visualise.

The nogard activity also uses this strategy. The nogard is visualising to describe what a nogard is. So in the end would make people find out what it looks like.

Visualisation is a helpful strategy to use in reading because it can help people visualise a story and also helps people get to know a book.

LI: to visualise the main parts of a story
