Making connections

Making connections is when you use a text for yourself, text and the world.

The book I used was a book called electricity to link with a book that explains about power.

Text-to-self connections are connections that a reader makes between a piece of reading material. Text to self is what links to what you do. For example: The dam has 4 big pipes that water pours in and goes in the powerhouse. My connection is at home I used a pipe that would fill a bottle up with a small cap hole.

Text to Text is a text thats linked in a book or a movie. For example: The dam has a pylon witch forms into electricity. My connection is in the book electricity it explains that electricity a form of energy resulting from the existence of charged objects such as electrons or protons.

Text to world is linking ideas in the world. For example: The dam took 15 years to build. My connection is The Sylvia park ANZ building took a few years to build.
